Discovery Learning Center Services
Discovery is a multi-modal preschool learning environment with total enrollment of 12 students ages 3-5. Your child will have the opportunity to exercise his/her talents in several academic settings through the day. We use humanistic research-based methods and positive, intrinsic reinforcements. Our teachers have sensitive but firm perspectives to help your child reach his/her potential. Your children are real people here and will be consistently treated as such!
Morning Preschool.................................................$145.00 @ week
8 - 12:30 Monday - Thursday. Families may choose which hours they use and are free to change their child's schedule from day to day. Classes offered are language arts, yoga, math, art, drumming, citizenship and science.

Discovery Learning Center will not be in session on the following days, if they truly fall on our regular class day :
Martin Luther King Jr. Day - 3rd Monday in January
President’s Day - 3rd Monday in February
Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
Two weeks including and following Memorial Day (Tuition will not be collected for these weeks.)
Juneteenth - June 19th (*floating holiday)
Independence Day - July 4th (*floating holiday)
Labor Day - First Monday in September
Indigenous Peoples Day/Columbus Day - 2nd Monday in October
Veterans Day - November 11th (*floating holiday)
Thanksgiving Day - 4th Thursday in November
The two weeks surrounding Christmas & New Years
(Tuition will not be collected for these weeks.)
*Discovery will close for “floating” holidays only if they actually fall on Monday - Thursday.
Due to CDC/NV Department of Health regulations, we have made a change in our services offered. We are no longer able to offer full day preschool in our current facility.
